Cab Calloway School of the Arts proudly hosted Red Clay, its talented presenters, and civic partners for the preliminaries of Project Soapbox—an inspiring event dedicated to amplifying student voices and empowering them to share their perspectives on important issues.

Middle school scholars from across the district showcased their passion and ideas through thought-provoking speeches, impressing a panel of judges and an enthusiastic audience. Twelve exceptional students took center stage, captivating everyone with confidence and eloquence.

This event celebrated the power of self-expression and the courage to speak out; the journey isn’t over yet! As we approach the competition portion of Project Soapbox, we are thrilled to announce that 25 Red Clay students will advance.
